About

The BFC is looking for a well-rounded Digital Marketing Executive to join the team and work on the digital strategy and execution across the company’s full portfolio of brands, events and initiatives; including London Fashion Week, London Fashion Week Men’s, London Fashion Week Festival and The Fashion Awards. Promoting British Fashion and the designers to a global audience.

 

Responsibilities

Business Skills

  • To create, drive, deliver, and effectively manage day-to-day activities within the marketing team, working with agencies and internal teams to ensure all assets are correct and to brief
  • Assistance in the creation of the BFC’s communication and marketing strategy to promote British fashion on a global stage
  • Maintain strong internal communications across all departments and develop strong working relationships with key BFC stakeholders including networks of agencies, digital partners, designers, sponsors and PRs
  • Demonstrate best practice in managing communications and quality standards
  • Manage the Digital Marketing Assistant and delegate tasks accordingly
  • Deliver individual tasks whilst maintaining focus on overall company objectives
  • Be a digital marketing ambassador and help partners and colleagues to understand and act digital.

 Expertise Skills

  • Develop digital marketing campaigns across all BFC digital channels and manage the digital marketing content calendar
  • Liaise with PR to develop storytelling around events and initiatives
  • Implement new digital marketing and social technologies and campaigns
  • Executing all seasonal digital updates and amplifying key initiatives in breakthrough ways to deliver on brand objectives
  • Help set KPIs across channels for events and analyse the effectiveness of digital campaigns by creating weekly and post-event reports
  • Conduct analysis of the various BFC audiences, and develop a digital strategy to speak to each of these across multiple channels
  • Manage all BFC websites ensuring content is up-to-date while continuing to make improvements to the editorial content, design and usability for key audiences 
  • Develop BFC social media channels including the creation and distribution of content
  • Ensure all digital guidelines are maintained and adhered to both internally and with partners
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong, planning and project management skills

Professional Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor degree graduate with 2 years minimum experience working within a Digital Marketing role 
  • Sound knowledge of Google Analytics, Photoshop and basic knowledge of HTML
  • Proven examples to show creative eye and editorial ability
  • Excellent written and spoken level of English essential
  • Strong knowledge of IT and data processing skills
  • Database/CRM knowledge or experience

 

Salary & Benefits

  • Job type: full time, permanent
  • Salary Band: £TBC - £TBC, dependant on experience
  • Standard company benefits, including 25 days annual holiday
  • Standard company working hours, flexibility required during events, exhibitions, etc.
  • Confirmation of appointment and eligibility to benefits, subject to successful completion of a 3 month probationary period
  • This salary is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This is due to the BFC being a recipient of ERDF funds and as such employees are required to keep a record, via monthly time sheets, of the work undertaken relating to ERDF funded activities
