About Fashion Film
The BFC Fashion Film initiative, sponsored by River Island, aims to develop relationships between fashion designers and film makers and recognises the on-going development of fashion film as an important medium in the industry. Fashion Film’s main objective is to encourage, promote and stimulate the growth of designers and brands using film as a means of showcasing, thus strengthening London’s position as a leader in this field. Fashion Film offers designers and emerging filmmakers support through funding and showcasing opportunities.
There are two main areas of support that Fashion Film offers.
The BFC Fashion Film initiative gives designers the opportunity to apply for financial support towards creating a film for their up and coming collection. Fashion Film will also support the distribution and showcase of the film once produced.
