DESIGNER NAME: Bruno Pieters
BACKGROUND: Born in Bruges, Belgium, Bruno trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Prior to debuting his first couture collection in 2001, and then his ready-to-wear collection in 2002, he developed his craft working with such designers as Martin Margiela and Christian Lacroix. Bruno also went on to become creative director of Delvaux’s menswear line and art director for Hugo by Hugo Boss, as well as collaborating with Swedish brand Weekday.Bruno won the Swiss Textile Award in 2006, the Andam Award from the Pierre Berge and Yves Saint Laurent Foundation in 2007, and the Elle Style Award in 2008.
