The Model Zone February 2016

The British Fashion Council runs The Model Zone as part of the Model Health Programme and to ensure the well-being of models during London Fashion Week and London Collections Men.

The Model Zone is a private space for use by the models taking part in the catwalk shows and presentations during London Fashion Week. It offers models a dedicated space to eat, drink and relax in between shows. Look out for Model Zone posters backstage, providing the location and further details on the Model Zone.

The Model Zone will be open from 19th-23rd of February, 11:00 – 19:00 each day. A schedule of sponsor activity will on the posters backstage and available from agencies. 

This season at the Model Zone we will be featuring the following:


KEZIA LOPEZ PT
Kezia Lopez is a personal trainer and fitness model who delivers classes for Nike Training Club and she also forms part of the team of top personal trainers at Nordic Balance - based at St James’s Square London. Kezia is a British Rowing National Championship bronze medallist and currently competes as part of Barnes Bridge Ladies Rowing Club. Kezia specialises in functional and strength training and will be on site at The Model Zone to chat about exercises and general wellbeing.

RUSSELL BATEMAN, SBC
SBC is run by coach Russell Bateman and has been dubbed the "secret regime for supermodels" Russell writes for vogue and has been a resident for the BFC model lounge for the last two seasons on hand to give advice and tips when needed. His client list reads like an a-list who's who so come and experience the hype surrounding SBC and chat to Russell himself. "

SARAH HUNT
Sarah Hunt is a yoga and meditation teacher based in London, bringing various styles of yoga to the privacy of individual homes or offices.  During London Fashion Week, she will be holding yoga classes in the Model Zone that focus on detoxification, flexibility, and relaxation.  She will also be available for specific questions on mindfulness and breathing techniques to calm the body and mind during moments of stress.  

DANIELLE COPPERMAN, MODEL MANGE TOUT
Danielle Copperman is a London-based model signed with IMG Models. Whilst working full time as a model, she began to discover ways in which the food she ate impacted her complexion, physical form, energy and moods - all of which are important parts of being a model. She has since set up a healthy eating and lifestyle blog called www.ModelMangeTout.com, as well as a launching a range of nutritious gluten free breakfast goods, known as Qnola. Limited numbers of Qnola tote bags, Mindful Manuals and Qnola treats will be available. 

WELEDA
This season in The Model Zone Weleda will be offering models a pampering menu of creature comforts and organic beauty. Weleda’s experienced team of massage and beauty therapists Amanda Bucher, Natalie Lewis and Nisha Jani will offer revitalising treatments and massages with a choice of fragrant body oils, soothing mini facials and holistic skincare advice. Homeopath Wendy Rushin and homeopathic pharmacist Evelyn Liddell will be on hand for wellbeing advice and holistic health consultations.

AMANZI TEA
Amanzi will be hosting a pop up tea bar serving up hot and cold herbal teas as well as a range of ‘tea cocktails’. Tea samples will also be available for models to take home.
